MSPs Mike Rumbles and Richard Baker with North-east representatives of the Parkinson's Disease Society at the Scottish Parliament

Mike Rumbles, MSP for West Aberdeenshire & Kincardine, today met with North-east representatives of the Parkinson's Disease Society at the Scottish Parliament.

Mr Rumbles was meeting with the local campaigners to show his support for the society's "Get It On Time" campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the problems people with Parkinson's can face getting their medication on time when they are admitted to hospital.

Commenting Mr Rumbles said:

"It was great that the representatives of the Parkinson's Disease Society took the time to travel down from the North-east and I was very pleased to have the opportunity to go over some of the very real issues facing people with Parkinson's with them.

"The Get It On Time campaign will hopefully be successful in raising awareness of these important matters."
