Gift Corner now sells crafts, personalised embroidery products and a variety of gift items produced at Stonehaven, as well as providing employment opportunities to 18 people with disabilities.

Shop manager Tracey Smith said: "This means we can go where we have always wanted to go. It means we can eventually get a website going, we can get the stock in that we want. The more we can sell the more help we can give. We have more chance of making more money now."

Sir Robert Smith MP said at the opening: "I would like to thank all those that have made this opening possible. Gift Corner will be a great opportunity for the community to support Cornerstone's valuable employment opportunities."
